Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. With effect from January 1st 2015, Kosttel Pte Ltd provides to the purchaser of selected ROMOSS products (the ‘Product’) purchased from Kosttel Pte Ltd or it’s authorised retailer in Singapore a Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty against inherent defects for the period, and on the exclusions and conditions, set out hereafter:

2. The warranty is subject to the following exclusions:

i. Accidental damage, customer misuse or neglect
ii. Abnormal wear and tear
iii. Rental or other commercial use
iv. Unauthorised modification to the Product
v. Faulty repairs by consumer or unauthorised agent
vi. Failure to follow battery charging instructions.

3. The following conditions apply:

i. The ROMOSS product’s  is covered by a 1 year standard warranty from the date of purchase. In order to qualify for this 1 year warranty, the purchaser must produce the warranty card, issue by Kosttel Pte Ltd and proof of purchased from authorised reseller. Our ROMOSS Customer Care Centre reserves the right to reject the warranty if the customer fails to meet the requirement. If your product should fail within the first six months, due to manufacturing defects, Kosttel Pte Ltd will replace a brand new replacement for free. If the purchased product was more than 6 months, a repair may be necessary.  The purchaser have an option to buy a brand new(same model, if available)as replacement for a 20% discount off the listed purchase price.

ii. ROMOSS warranty scheme covers manufacturing defects that occur through normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse and misuse or commercial use is not covered.

iii. Kosttel Pte Ltd reserves the right to inspect or test any Product claimed to be defective

iv. The period of warranty commences on the date of purchase of the Product. Proof of purchase and purchase date and authorise reseller stamp on the warranty card is required. Any warranty card without authorised reseller stamp or date of purchased, will not qualify for the warranty.

v. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.

vi. Warranty registration within 30 days of purchase is recommended to ensure any claim can be processed promptly, without need for further proof of purchase. Registration via enquiry@romoss.com.sg

vii. The guarantee is non-transferable and is only available to residents in Singapore. Customers living outside Singapore should contact their retailer or local distributor.

viii. In the event of a warranty claim in respect of the ROMOSS products, the consumer should in the first instance contact his local authorised reseller and arrange to take the faulty product to ROMOSS Customer Care Centre for inspection/repair.
